If you have been trying to find the right exercise for you, something different perhaps and you don’t fancy going to the gym, how about TRX classes?
Virgin active says “Total Body Resistance” (TRX) is the brainchild of Navy Seal Randy Hetrick. Using a series of straps attached to an A-frame or wall, gravity works with your body weight to produce resistance. To modify an exercise, simply move away to increase the load and closer to reduce it.
Whatever you do, your core does it too and in a single exercise you use way more muscles, so results sky rocket. Target train or total body workout, your strength, balance and flexibility will thank you.”
It also says “TRX is for any fitness level: it uses your own body weight to provide the resistance, and a shift of body angle or stance can lessen or increase that resistance. So it is great for beginners and easy to progress as you get stronger.”
Anita would recommend one of their new brightly coloured sports bras Air control DeltaPad for this class to help you keep your energy levels up while staying cool and properly supported.
Or what about Clubbercise? Their web page says:
“Clubbercise® – simple, fun dance fitness routines using glow sticks to club anthems from 90′s classics to the latest chart hits. Taught in a darkened room with disco lights.
Because of the high and low impact options Clubbercise dance fitness classes are great if you’re a beginner or if you’re already a fitness freak!”
For a high impact class such as this Anita recommend a high support sports bra such as Momentum or Extreme Control.
There’s always the good old low impact Spin class to fall back on as well for those that don’t mind cycling and want to challenge themselves a bit further.
Fitness First say
“Working up a sweat in spin class is an incredible low-impact way to burn calories and tone muscle.”
It also says Spin is:
“Great for shedding calories, improving your cardio ability, increasing your stamina, and also toning your legs, glutes and core, spinning classes, which are surprisingly low-impact on the knees and ankles, are extremely for effective for building a leaner body overall.”
Whatever exercise you choose it is important to wear the right fitting sports bra. Make sure you get correctly fitted at a stockist near you before starting an exercise class. Apart from preventing damage to your delicate breast tissue a sports bra will reduce strain on your back and neck as well as work to motivate you since the firm feel of the bra gets you in the mood to start working. Add in a bright colour and your energy levels are sure to soar!
